Soggy start to the day

It was a wet start to the day but it was a good start to the day as Mr F has returned from America.

As for anyone returning from a long journey he has had to get over his jet lag.

We've kept busy all day to help him stay awake.

We went into town and had lunch.  The Hockney bollard was looking rather wet.  And I liked the people in the background with their paper carrier bags - of course one doesn't pay 5p for those.

We might do some work on the downstairs toilet tomorrow.  We've only been working on it all year.  With us both working so hard there isn't much time at the weekend for decorating.  We won't be doing this again.  I'll pay for someone to come in in future.
