Taking in the City

Up early and spent a few hours and the Metropolitan Art Museum which was wonderful. Rooms full of stunning paintings, Roman and Greek statutes. We probably covered a fraction of the exhibits.

In the evening went to see the Lion King on Broadway. The area around Times Square was heaving and not really to our taste but the show was most enjoyable.

Visited trinity church next to the hotel in the afternoon and at the door the above skyline caught my eye.

Navigated the New York subway all day without mishap.
