Little Jake Gets Married

It's strange to see "kids" get married that you have known since they were toddlers. I just have trouble imagining that they grow up.

Jake's older brother Nick gave the best man speech, and he started by saying..."As I look around the room, I think about half the people here have changed mine and Jakes diapers...so I'm not going to tell you anything new."

I caught the new couple as the minister was praying. They were supposed to have their heads bowed, but I love the way they are looking at each other.

I'll give you my "old man" complaint about every wedding I've been to in the last 10 years. THE MUSIC IS TOO LOUD! When you're sitting at your table far away from the deejay, and you still can't talk to the people at the table...IT'S TOO LOUD!!!

Oh well. The music aside, I wish the newlyweds Jake and Katie the best of everything.

Tomorrow morning, Lisa and I are going to be Catholics, as we go to see our grand-niece Brynn being baptized.
