Sunsets on Hoga

Most evenings we would gather at Ola’s, the only café on the island, drink Sarabah (amazing ginger tea drink) or beer, and watch the sunset. Some of them, like this one, were particularly stunning. All of them reminded us in that half an hour, that despite whatever had stressed us out that day, we were lucky to be calling this little slice of paradise home for a short while.

Certainly the best setting I've ever been in for a job. Those sunset conversations with people from all over the world, a lot of them essentially nomads, made me really appreciate that this notion of 'home' really isn't a geographical location.
