An underwater life

I wouldn’t say that I took naturally to it the first time I went underwater but I was in love with it from the off. Just being underwater I find incredible. The fact that you don’t look like predator or prey to the underwater population means you can observe far more natural animal behaviour than is possible on land.


Then there is the feeling of being weightless. I did my first drift on a staff fun dive and it felt like flying. No sinking, no swimming, I put my arms out, relaxed and let the ocean take me. Just amazing.  It’s got just such a feeling of freedom.
