Silbury Hill (Friday 6th November 2015)

I stopped off at Silbury Hill on my way to Marlborough before the weather and the light got any worse. I nearly didn't bother but I thought the presence of the sheep made it almost worth getting the lens cap off...

The Beatles - A Day In The Life (recorded January-February 1967)
My copy of 1+, the Beatles CD of No. One hits with two discs of videos, arrived on this day. The tracks have been remixed and I believe this is the first time this has happened on a regular Beatles release apart from the Yellow Submarine Songbook. This video clip was partly filmed at the 40-piece orchestra overdub session at Abbey Road that took place on 10 February 1967.
