Singapore Beach Barbecue Evening

The final engagement of this conference was an informal evening on this beach at the end of another very busy and productive day's work.

It was lovely to sit out under the palm trees with bamboo shelters relaxing with colleagues enjoying cool drinks, delicious barbecue food and live music.

Poppies being worn proudly in this foreign land on Remembrance Day were a poignant reminder of those who fought and lost their lives here in the battle for Singapore following its invasion by the Japanese in the Second World War.
