Blurry Friday

A busy day getting all the gear together for boat maintenance over the winter; overalls, wellies, ladder, diesel, all manner of tools and cleaners. And then a bit of serious power washing on the undersides. As I was motoring about collecting stuff I happened to listen in to Breaking the News - a BBCScot Radio show which I’d just heard we’d got tickets for. I was maist amused by their discussions around the proposed legislation on internet surveillance. Why can’t the spooks just be like Amazon said one wag, y’know a jihadi is online tapping out, ‘death to the jews,’ so the browser pops up with a message, ‘we see you don’t like jews - here are some other groups you may hate…’ Haw haw. Indeed. I also liked the suggestion that the retention of individuals’ browser history may lead to the welcome return of pornography in print.
So, it was back to shower the barnacles out my hair and later along to Bon Vivant for a bit of serious relaxing and a bit of pretty decent cod. Philosophy that is. From me.
