Milestone

One year ago, almost to the day, we started to learn how to ring bells. Today the ringers at St Wilfrid's, where we are learning, invited us to join them ringing for the morning service. We didn't do too badly and didn't let ourselves, or them, down. There is however still much to learn, but this is a significant milestone on our journey.

Earlier in the week we learned more about the progress of the bells which will be going into our tower. As well as the 8 which are being transfered from another church tower there will be two new ones installed and early in the new year we will have the opportunity to visit the foundry to see them being cast.
