Al Fresco breakfast
We're taking advantage of the cooler mornings at the moment and eating breakfast outside which is delightful. It gets a bit too warm later in the day for sitting outside too much. Despite being a Sunday, we were at work today putting up shade for the cattle, which has been at the top of the to-do list for about a week with increasing guilt. At last, it is done.
Today was Remembrance Sunday and as such a day of reflection and one where, for many years has involved St. Pauls, followed by lunch with good friends. I knew that today I would feel as if I should be elsewhere and as such, it was quite hard knowing that I would have normally been with friends remembering others. However, we watched the Cenotaph parade, not quite the same, however always very moving.
Knowing that our Regiment would have been at St Pauls, it is has been for centuries was lovely and I know that we will be there again, feeling proud of both what we have done and even more so for what others have done.
