Charity Gift Fair

Yes, I know......it is VERY early to be thinking about Christmas!.

Today we drove up the coast, to attend an early Christmas fair....proceeds from which will go to a local charity that helps children and women who have suffered from domestic violence....a very good cause....

We have attended this particular fair, every November, over the past 4 or 5 years. I was able to buy gift wrap paper, tags, some "Stocking Filler" gifts ......and it was also an opportunity to meet some lovely ladies who make 'artisan' type gifts...painters, bakers, jam makers, patchwork, and general 'crafters'.

It was well worth the journey.....and the weather today was so warm and sunny; it was a good day to go out and enjoy a ride up to Marina Alta.......we live in Marina Baixa.
