After the fire

Someone set fire to the ranges here near Pirbright earlier this year. The land is recovering surprisingly quickly. I liked the blackened trees against the bright orange grasses.

I should have been in the air on a flight to China this evening but someone over there must have been nervous about me working as a journalist and wouldn't endorse the visa. I hope they'll return my passport. Frankly it's a relief, it was a ridiculously long flight.
