CHIPS OF THE OLD BLOCK

Busy impressing my Area Manager today so to celebrate my success in keeping my house in order we drove over to Pateley Bridge to enjoy a bag of chips (honest dear I don't know how that battered sausage got in there) and admire the view. After a short walk along the riverside my dearest decided an ice-cream was called for (no matter how forceful I was in saying NO I still had to have one) and we settled on a seat in the show ground to lick our delights, thats where I spotted my blip for tonight, the sculpture looks to be carved from a single trunk and you can obviously see the cow & pig, I've a mind to think that there may be a sheep lurking towards the rear but because the gates were locked I couldn't venture further to check it out. Fed and watered we made our way home via Greenhow Hill, what a marvellous view tonight, the haze that tends to persist most of the time was absent and you could see York quite clearly (even more so through the binoculars) All in all a splendid day, hope yours was to.
