Lost Duckling

Bakewell is blessed with its very own Doctor Doolittle in the guise of Graham Skidmore.
I was sitting down by the river having a chat listening to him tell me how he was now taming a grey squirrel which he'd found, when a duckling swept out from under the seat he was sitting on.
He calmly picked it up and wondered where its mother was, as it seemed strange to see a duckling without its mum and dad around.
I left him looking around for a bit of repatriation!
