Almost gone...

Emily eats a lot of cake! Who knows how we have managed to get through so much in so little time.

After a lie in this morning (as adrenaline ball was last night), I made lunch, sat with Emily for a bit, and then worked on my dissertation. By about 7pm I decided to look at PhDs which turned out to not be the best idea. There is far too much choice and all the interesting projects are too far away (mainly in London). I really want to stay in Scotland if possible but I'm feeling a bit disheartened and confused at the moment. I have therefore decided to spend all of tomorrow researching projects and hopefully getting ready to apply to two or three of them. I have also emailed my botanic garden supervisor to see if he has heard of any interesting PhDs being advertised. Hopefully by tomorrow I'll feel a bit more relaxed about the whole thing anyway!

P.S. there's a gap in my entries from yesterday. I'm waiting for the professional photos to go up online so I can use one of those, so I will add it in at some point (hopefully tomorrow)!
