Twa Dogs

These two canines at Kilmarnock Cross stand beside a statue of Scotland's national bard Robert Burns, who frequented these parts as a young man.
One of his most famous poems was 'The Twa Dogs' - and here they are, passed by hundreds of town centre shoppers every day.
