Sloe day

Managed to get out for a walk in the morning but the rain and wind set in for the rest of the day.
Headed across the fields to a hedgerow of blackthorn that we spotted last weekend. There was an abundance of sloes but so enough for us and plenty for the birds!
I've opted for sloe vodka mainly because I'd just seen a recipe in the paper , and had a bottle of vodka handy. I've never tried it before so will now have to wait a few months for a taster.
