Autumn festival

A few weeks ago it was the autumn festival and this was a blip that I didn't get round to posting. Anyway, for this festival everyone eats moon cakes. Hmmm...not sure why they are called this. Anyway, I really like them and they have all sorts of fillings like red beans, pistachio nuts, dates etc. However, I also really love the box the contrast of red with the gold is really striking and the traditional Chinese designs in gold are traditional pictures representing life in China. I think the traditional chinese culture is fascinating and intriguing, so I'm particularly attracted to these designs.
