Schools Olympic torch relay, Leigh-on-Sea

The real Olympic torch comes our way next week, but as an appetiser the local schools relayed what looked like a giant ice cream through the streets. Here it is arriving in the Leigh Junior School playground at the end of its journey. The children then performed Olympics-themed dances and songs. Hope they have as much fun at the torch event proper.
