View from a Cafe.
This weekend is the annual meeting of our boating syndicate held in the village where the boat is moored. We decided to take the caravan down and have a few days break while we are down there. So mid morning (ish) we were off.
The run down went well apart from the inevitable delays due to the volume of traffic slowing everything down to a crawl for 30 minutes. We arrived at the CL (caravan club certified location) mid afternoon. The number of caravans was something of a surprise! CLs are limited to 5 members and on the CL there were 4 of us. However just over the fence the South Staffordshire Caravan group were having a rally and there were 17 of them. All perfectly legal as a landowner can have caravans on any field for up to 28 days a year.
Having got the van sited and settled we nipped a couple of hundred yards along the road to the farm shop near the marina intending to take some photos. However it was very wet so we decided to have a coffee in their cafe instead while we thought about what to do. In the end we settled for shot taken from their canal side verandah.
