Monday: Blue Graffiti
I ventured out for a walk around the block at lunchtime. I am trying to do that a bit more on days when I don't have any other external meetings - I am actually discovering some corners I didn't really know about, such as this graffiti wall.
So we have been election watching all day. The result is now clear (apart from some recounting in smaller municipalities) and it looks like 59 to the conservatives and 56 to the centre left coalition with smaller parties making up the remainder. Neither side has enough to govern so its a case of who can now get a coalition together. Both parties need to pay attention to the fact that MOST, a relatively new third party, swept up 19 seats, more than anyone anticipated. It's a sign of the frustration people feel with the existing two parties........interesting times.
