Laroch

We are right in the shadow of some high west coast mountains. They attract rain clouds and mist like a tourist attacts midges.
When it rains it really rains and these burns (Scottish mountain streams) rurn in to raging torrents very quicky. This burn, until recently,  was the source of the public water supply for the village down below.

Shortly after this shot I had to get across it.
