Smug : to a point!

For the first time ever, I have started my Christmas shopping in November ... Early November to be precise. I have achieved that feeling of perhaps being sorted ahead of the rush and being organised in something other than my professional life. Except I was so excited by a present I had bought for my daughter that I gave it to her straight away! Rather defeats the object.
