The Lone Tree

Photographers seem to like trees and there are some trees that photographers like to flock to. This is one of the famous ones and sits about a mile above a small village called Malham. A tip for any photographers looking to shoot this tree is to take the car, those hills are bloomin' steep! The other tip is to be patient, a few minutes before this shot we were being pummeled with rain and blown over by ridiculous winds then all of a sudden it calmed down to a strong breeze and some interesting clouds formed over the tree. You can see why it's an interesting tree though growing out of the limestone pavement.
