Marjorie Glen

The Marjorie Glen brought coals from Newcastle (and not the other way around) to South America, specifically to Río Gallegos. In September 1911 ship and cargo caught fire, and the ship was abandoned. The tide line has receded since then. In 1982 the Argentine Skyhawk pilots used it for strafing practice - fortunately no Exocets were used.
