lonely nests

I wrote not long ago about our new hens, Helen, and Mimsy.  The laid exactly two eggs each...and then stopped.  The stress....the change of daylight.....it was all too much for the ladies...and they haven't laid eggs in two weeks now.  Bummer deal.  We just have to be patient, I guess.  

Work was work.....

I went to a school conference for The Sugar, and she is doing great.  Just as I suspected. She has really started to find her own way.  She is branching out.  Trying new things...playing with a bigger variety of friends......hanging out MORE....playing pretend LESS.....she is growing up.  eeekkkkkkkkkk
