Rock

I have always been fascinated by anything that can grow on a rock.

We had a lovely time when my friend and her son (Bob's friend) joined us for dinner tonight. Friday is often pancake night at the Fryer's, and I made the HUGE mistake of trying a new pancake recipe. The pancakes were absolutely dreadful, edible only with frequent applications of maple syrup. Our guests proved themselves to be the best of friends in that they ate the pancakes and still seemed to enjoy themselves. I should return to my rule of no new recipes the next time they come over.
