Flowers for Mum
I never expect flowers but have received these from my work colleagues and a friend Grange (who is my daughter's father in law) over the last two days.
Mum touched many people during her long life. Today I spoke to her oldest friend who is 95. Unfortunately she is distressed as she promised to look after Mum ( back in World War 11 days when they were in the AWAS - Australian Women's Army Service). Now she feels she has failed in her promise. I tried to reassure her they were best friends for all these years and she had not broken her promise. Poor thing, she is a bit muddled.
Thanks for your kind thoughts and comments, I will get around to responding soon.
