The Trent & Mersey Canal

Our reson for being in Great Haywood is that we have the AGM of the narrowboat owners syndicate where 11 families get together and decide on how much work needs done on Solace over the winter period. It's so important to keep a boat well-maintained, especially is it is over 20 years old, used constantly for  9 or 10 months every year, and used by a variety of people, all needing everything to work smoothly when it's their holiday.

We were at the bottom of the list for choosing holiday dates this year, and just got the spreadsheet back in time for the meeting. With the choice of weeks left we will have a different look to our photos next year. 4 weeks out of our usual times will be interesting!
