elephants at play..............

Had a lovely visit to Lilayi elephant nursery today where orphaned baby elephants are cared for before being released into Kafue National Park.  At present they have three  young elephants and it was fun to watch their antics after they had been fed!  These two pretend to battle it out and its really fun to watch - they also love to roll in the mud!

Many of these baby elephants are orphaned due to poaching, but one of them was just found wandering in the bush....a great job is being done in rearing them!
