This morning we remembered Ataturk, generally known as 'father of the Turks' who died on this day in 1938. Leader extraordinaire whose influence on this nation persists and is at the foundation and very heart of its people.
Mustafa Kemal Atatürk was a Turkish army officer, revolutionary, and the first President of Turkey. He is credited with being the founder of the Republic of Turkey.
