Pressed

Monday's are always my busiest day of the week; today was heightened with the arrival of a film crew to do a feature before Children in Need next week.
I was glad to get home. This is my rose from Patti Smith's drum set on Saturday looking nearly too beautiful to squash. But squash it I did; it's pressed and hopefully in the process of preserving forever.
