Sick Bed

The slight cold that's been slowly creeping up on me since the start of the week came out with a bang last night, and I felt absolutely awful today. I'm not someone who does nothing easily, but today was spent curled on the couch feeling crap. My Mum braved the germs and brought me some supplies and despite my pleas (in fear of her catching it) stayed for a chat and catch up.
I had reluctantly decided to give the fireworks a miss, but took the rain clearing up as a sign to bundle up and dart up to the uni for fifteen minutes of fantastic display.
Unfortunately as soon as I got home I was off to 'bed' on the couch for a spluttery, uncomfortable night.
