Working for a Living

I had a mission today - to teach Joanne how to cook. She rose to the challenge perfectly. I directed and she made a wonderful meatloaf. It was fabulous!!

THEN, I got to work for my dinner. Firstly, I cut Jo's hair. Then Jane's hair. Then Nevyn's hair. Then my dad's hair. Then Lyssa's hair. Then Anya's hair.

It was fantastic seeing Lyssa. I miss her so very much. I got to talk to her, to stroke her hair and to comb it through while I thinned it out for her.

Next week, I am directing Joanne on the art of Cottage pie and toffee making!

The flat my dad and Jo live in is next to a building site - more flats and shops being built - the sky looked dark and broody as the folks working there went home.
