Teardrop of Remembrance

This shot is straight out of camera (apart from a little adjustment in Lightroom)

My drip trigger is working really well and I am just making adjustments to the software.  This is a drop of water thickened with Guar Gum which gives a much nicer round drop.  However the resulting liquid is slightly cloudy so I need to experiment with filtering it.

Although I call this a drip trigger it is much more than that and it can interface with sensors to be triggered by sound,  infra-red beams etc.  

For this shot it was quite straightforward to catch the drop as it fell out of the drip solenoid.  The poppy was on a grey board behind.
