Old School

I heard the milkman a few times recently, at around 4am. On Monday, when it was about 7am, I saw him. And then decided that I'd like to go back to my childhood when we used to wake up every morning to glass bottles on the doorstep. Much more convenient, as half the reason I ever go to the shops is to get milk, and then I end up spending £50 on "stuff" I actually don't need......

I was actually quite excited, and ordered two pints of skimmed milk, an Alpro Soya Light, and a bottle of OJ. It was nice to open the door and find this little selection here! And it cost less than £5! I've yet to work out how often I'll need him to deliver, but I'll worry about that later (he only delivers three days a week).

A better morning at work today, I'm feeling a bit more like myself work-wise,  although both my boss and I are happy to just do part-time for a little while at the moment. I feel a bit better as the pressure has been taken off too. We had a good chat for about half an hour, and I was surprised how supportive she was. She even said she'd say a prayer for the Tim situation to work out.

I went to A this evening, and I cried a lot of the session, which I wasn't expecting to. I was quite angry and have so many questions and thoughts about what happened, she seemed to get the brunt of my despair tonight. She's very good, it takes a special someone to be able to support others so skilfully in their time of need.

Going to try to drag myself to the gym tonight, but first I've got to book my flight to Amsterdam on Friday. I wish I was going with Tim, but alas I am not.
