Remembrance Day

The Remembrance service starts at 11.45 in our village and lasts 30 minutes. In the middle of all the speeches, the church clock strikes midday and the bells ring for what seems like ages, like they do every day. It doesn't usually matter but today it seemed a shame to drown out the speeches!
After the obligatory vin d'honneur, we went to a local restaurant for a very nice lunch with some of our friends.
Another great day weather wise, blue skies, sunshine and warm autumnal weather after a bit of a foggy start.
