Armistice Day...

...and this is Ingbirchworth's recently-dedicated war memorial. Don't know why we haven't had one before, but I do like the one we have now! I love it that it is so simple and understated.
Previously there were two framed handwritten scrolls in the chapel, but now the chapel has been sold for housing I guess the village decided there should be a permanent reminder honouring "those who served and those who fell".
