Moorland Tribute

A walk up on the West Pennine Moors arriving at the memorial to the Wellington Bomber which crashed killing all the Australian airmen on board.  On the 50th Anniversary the Australian Air Force recorded the national album and sent the recording over in a diplomatic bag.  It was then played in remembrance with a few family members making the long journey to join with local folk in the annual commemoration.   A lonely spot but what a view which can be seen in the extra below
