Nipping off

A lot of my life appears to be spent on trains and tubes to and from Heathrow, then on planes from there. A large amount of travel can be unsettling yet I find myself relishing it at the moment as in my mind I am still an expat and haven't firmly reestablished the UK as my base. And it's always nice to nip off to the tropics for a month during late autumn...

I do still wonder at the technological prowess of humankind to get these beasts in the air with relatively very few mishaps. Quite remarkable really.
