School Pond

I am very proud of our school pond which is now 2 years old. It has been a great addition to our wildlife area, encouraging many frogs into the area. I hadn't really realised that a pond is just like a small garden. We have Yellow flag, Bogbean, water mint, monkey flower and other plants growing. It is surrounded by native trees planted in pots. We are not able to dig up the surface of our playground so everything has to be potted up or put into large planters. Many children come to look at the pond each day.
