Speakeasy, Vienna style
This blip deals with a very special (at least in certain circles :)) institution of Vienna - the Espressos. The usually gritty dives are mostly located in working class neighborhoods and are known to serve stong stuff (and most likely very little Espresso) to thirsty punters, especially in the early/late hours of the day. They get lots of coverage in local newspapers, that's why we call them "abdominal stab" cafés - I guess I can't describe the original term Café Bauchstich properly.
The venue on the left side of the picture advertises "Spirits", "Mocca" and "Soft Drinks" (!), but the small print below reads "Rum" and "Weingeist", which is pure Ethanol :)
