My hero, My Dad

Today we celebrate Veteran's Day. It doesn't get the recognition that other holidays receive and that is sad.  For we need to always remember the sacrifice our Men and Women who have served in our armed forces have made.  The edifice of our society stands on the acts of our country's heroes, our Veterans.  My heart goes out to the families who have lost a loved one in service to our country and I give my heartfelt thanks to those have served and are serving to protect our country.  My Dad is one of many heroes.  He served in the 94th Gas Battalion in the Third Army under General Patton in WWII.
