Just like a Painting

I went down to the lake at 7.30 this morning to photograph the rowers coming in.  However the lake was lovely and smooth with nice reflections and scattered cloud shadows on Mt Roy.  Got some lupins in the foreground to complete my lupin theme.

This morning I went to morning tea with my photography friends, then this afternoon joined 3 other people for a game or two of croquet.  It was a lovely sunny afternoon, with a refreshing cuppa and a chat included. 

Tomorrow my family and I are driving to Queenstown, then catching a flight to Auckland, finishing with a drive to Lake Taupo.  We are going to a family wedding.
