Pepero Day

A peculiar thing happens in Korea on the 11th of November - Pepero Day

It's really just a clever marketing trick buy the Korean Chocolate Stick Marketing Board, but it's very effective - the most profitable day of the year for convenience stores, allegedly. 

And because of Pepero Day I had the privilege of attempting to teach 4 classes of hyperactive 10 year olds today.   

Very different tone from Remembrance Day and the two-minute's silence back home.
