Dig the string vest

This is Roy, my other half, who by the way is 70. The reaon for the vest is that on Thursday he had to go and see the cardiologist for his final heart checkup. The nurse got a piece of gauze and with one or two deft snips of the scissors she fashioned this fetching item, to hold the electrodes in place. The reason for the check up, two years ago we went to Goa for a holiday and three days into the holiday he had a heart attack, very worrying. The level of treatment in the hospital in Goa was second to non. When we eventually arrived back in Spain, after the travel insurance company refusing to pay as they said that because we lived in Spain our insurance was invalid. They sold us the policy and new we did not live in the UK, eventually they capitulated and paid the bills.

Roy went into our local hospital and had a stent inserted, all appeared well. He went for his final checkup and the cardiologst decided the stent wasn't working properly, so he had to have another one inserted. The check up on Thursday showed an anomaly, so he has to go for more tests, and maybe a third stent. In himself he feels fine, heart is okay, so nothing to worry about on that count, he might have another blocked artery. So kids watch this space.

Just payed for our skiing holiday, found out that because he is 70 his lift pass is free, so age does have some advantages.
