Shine a Little Light

S and I have travelled to Birmingham. S will attend a conference for work; I shall frolic. It's been over 20 years since I've visited and the city has had some bright ideas in the meantime.

Later on S and I joined a couple of his colleagues for a thoroughly delicious dinner and an evening of unexpected conversational topics - most pleasing.
