Listen to Your Heart....

There's a storm brewing... a big one... Abigail.  UK's first named winter storm.

I have a half fear that the Met Office do this "over the top " scenario everytime there is a depression on route because of the Michael Fish Effect.

What do I do?    I drag himself out at 10 pm.  Cause I know he's not up for high tide at midnight.... and we head for the South Beach.  The Wind's a Southwesterly - and from North Shore, you wouldn't know there was a wind blowing.

We wondered about the town being so empty - and wondered if the pubs were closing and the streets were cleared because of the warning of a Storm Surge Combined with the High Tide...  Whatever, the town was asleep.  Not a car outside the Anchorage. Fullartons was closed. Lonsdale's Doors were shut.

On the Beach, Si stopped the car at the Bollards and i pushed with all my might to get the door open.  Yes, it was a bit stronger there.  The tide was still pretty far out - but the piles of sand drifts on the prom were evidence that the wind was whipping things up.

There was nothing to photographs, other than rain drops and dark skys.  You can't hear the howl of the wind in a photo.  You can't feel the sting of the sea water nipping your face.   But you can see the flipping mess it makes of my lush locks

:-)

Stay safe.
