Day Off

Teacher training for Arwen's school today, so she had the day off. We didn't do an awful lot to be honest. I had a doctor's appointment at 9.10 so while Asha, Caitlin & Arwen were still slug-a-beds, I was getting my scabby nose seen to. It turns out that after 20+ years of having my nose pierced and having sported a ring for at least 10 of those years - it's got infected! So, I'm now on antibiotics in tablet form and I kid you not, they are massive!!! Hopefully, they will kick in quickly enough and I'll go back to looking (relatively) normal :)

So, after that and everyone was out of bed, we headed into town for a wander. Claire's had that fateful sign in their window declaring SALE so in we all went. This is where Arwen sported these funky glasses for me - not the clearest of shots but I was being hustled by tweens :D

The rest of today has been spent getting as much of my UCAS application filled in and getting incredibly frustrated with student finance. Seriously, how am I mean to put in the 3rd and 10th letter of the password you gave me when said password only has 7 letters!!! I'll phone them up again tomorrow. On the plus side, I know how to present my portfolio now so it's not all bad.
