Hey guys, we goin'?

After driving up and spending the night with the in-laws, it was time to pack up for their annual vacation to the small town of Waupaca, Wisconsin, home of the Chain o' Lakes, a grouping of 12 or so Minnesota-sized lakes (citation needed) all connected. The family continues this 30+ year tradition at a rented cottage on one of the lakes. I'll share more about that in future blips.

For now, as we loaded up vehicles and made ready, Buddy knew something was up. He bounded into the truck as soon as he could, and stayed there for 20 minutes at a stretch (even though we were a few hours out from being ready), determined to not be left behind.

Rest assured, dear reader, he was not left behind.
